Lamberts Bay is a small fishing town in the Western Cape province of South Africa situated 280 kilometers north of Cape Town. It is part of the Cederberg Municipality and has been proclaimed 'the Diamond of the West Coast' because of its white beaches, wild life and lobsters. Although primarily a fishing town it has become a tourist attractions on the West Coast. The town also hosts the Crayfish Festival and is a relaxed holiday town with at least a Spar and other shops and is great place to get away from the busyness of city life.

Lamberts Bay has plentiful bird life and other sea life attractions. Some of the more popular species include Gannets and Cormorants. Dolphins, whales and the ever entertaining seals at the internationally acclaimed Bird Island attract tourist from all over. Heavyside dolphins are frequently spotted from the beach. Lamberts Bay is also a great place to view the lush stretches of wild field flowers that are most beautiful during spring.
